Under today's economy, with emphasis upon installment buying, many people find themselves 'deep in debt'.

That is especially true now, because for many years, with our country's continuous expansion and growth, everyone was inclined to feel 'tomorrow will be better than today'. So they bought on the 'pay later' plan.

Most of course, were right. Their judgement was good They were accumulating assets, and they did not obligate themselves for more than they could handle.

However, either through misfortune or mismanagement, many find themselves in financial trouble. Perhaps they overestimated their future income or underestimated their expenses or didn't plan at all. Now they have a problem of satisfying their creditors, and protecting their job and reputation.

Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Southern West Virginia was founded because there was no other community agency operating exclusively in the family money management field. It is not a collection agency, a charity organization or a lending institution.
